I was the Project Manager responsible of creating a 35' long Mutant Vehicle completely disguised as a huge cuttlefish with moving parts and radical illumination for Burning Man 2022-2023.

I'm a member of many sculpture groups and societies honoring the classical sculpture style. I've curated many solo art shows, and I have also organized group shows representing the best Bay Area artists depicting the Human figure and Horses.

Professional Testimonials

"The first time I visited Marilyn's studio I was stunned by the body of work displayed ... bronze cast figures and running horse each greeting me with intensity and power. Truly delightful work."
Renee M. Baldocchi - Public Programs and Docent Council Coordinator for the Fine Arts Museums of San Francisco, CA

"About Marilyn ... her carvings are reminiscent of Rodin but more sensitive, more tender, more fluid and lyrical ... they contain a marvelous and truly touching sense of pure spirit that she so ingeniously infuses into what was, before, mere innate matter."   Muldoon Elder - Vorpal Gallery Owner, San Francisco, CA

"Marilyn produces beautiful and carefully executed sculptures, full of movement, muscles flexing, even when still."
Elisabeth Cornu- Objects Conservator - Fine Arts Museums of San Francisco, CA

"In the five years of sculpture studies with me she learned and developed extraordinarily quickly. She grasped the basic fundamental of anatomy and design of the figure and now has added her own style, imagination, and originality."
Harriet Moore - International Master Sculptor, San Francisco, CA

"This is the best work I've seen since Rodin. You are special. I am truly humbled. Your work is so alive with passion... Exquisite."
G. King, Sculptor, Sacramento, CA
